time, through the Web application, i) the area potentially affected by the hydrocarbon at certain thresholds of environmental, human and\/or economic impact and the probability of contamination on the coast; and ii) the time of arrival at the coastal area.<\/p><p>The <em>BlowHazard<\/em> system will contribute to improve the environmental and social performance of the oil and gas sector as well as the prevention and response to accidental pollution from offshore activities, which will <u>contribute to environmental protection and conservation of seas, oceans and coastal areas<\/u>, responding to the <u>Societal Challenges<\/u>; to increase the control of polluting activities, in line with the <u>2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 14.
